Meri Lynn "Mer" HoeMeri Lynn "Mer" Hoe (nee Flannery), age 76, a resident of St. Petersburg, Florida for 20 years, formerly of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, passed away March 4, 2025. She was born February 13, 1949, in Great Lakes, Illinois. Meri was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Patricia (nee Bloomhuff); and her son, Douglas Roland.She is survived by her beloved husband of 20 years, Randy Hoe; her loving son, Gregory (Tracy) Roland, and stepsons, Steven and Ryan Hoe; dear granddaughter, Sophia Tran Roland; loving siblings Michael, Barry, Jeffrey, Debbie, and Karen, and siblings-in-law, Rick, Karen, Cathy, and Rodger; and her dear niece and nephew, Kristie and Connor Ford.Meri, known by her family as "Mer," took pride in finding the abstract minutiae in what would classically be the mundane. Rarely found without a smile, Mer walked through life with ease and curiosity. Her spirit lives on in her granddaughter, Sophia, with whom she deeply enjoyed indulging in and encouraging
