Glenn Edward Toenjes January 13, 1936 - May 7, 2024 Waterloo, Illinois - Glenn was a master brick mason starting at the age of 22. Many would say that Glenn was pretty gruff & tough on all his coworkers. That's putting it mildly, and what most would say is not printable. But only because he expected everyone to work as hard as him and produce the same excellent quality workmanship. He worked for many masonry companies during the years, retiring from Toenjes Brick Company, owned by his nephew, who early on, he trained and taught everything he knew. Glenn didn't always have an easy life. His Mother passed away when he was 5 years old and his baby sister passed away in a tragic accident one year later. Being the baby brother, Giss, as he was called, was pretty much raised by his 5 older brothers while Dad was at work, Robert, Wilbur (Whip), George (Tricky), Floyd (Flip), Donnie (Knuckles.)
