Joseph W. Pearl, 81, of Cahokia, IL. born February 25, 1943 in East St. Louis, IL.; passed away on Tuesday,June 4, 2024 at The Illinois Veteran's Home in Quincy, IL.
Joseph was retired from Cahokia School District 187. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and served one year in Greenland.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Eugene and Helen Lucille, nee Nagel, Pearl and a a brother, Richard A. Pearl.
Surviving are his children, Debbie Pearl, Greg Pearl and Larry Crews. a brother, Gerald (Tresha) Pearl; two sisters; Barbara Bayless and Karen (David) Blickenstaff. four grandchildren; Tori Dammrich, Ryan Noggle, Heather Crews, and Cody Crews; three great grandchildren; Emma Crowe, Layne Dammrich and Logan Day. He was also a dear uncle, cousin and friend.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, IL. The Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Roger Reid officiating. The Burial service will be
