It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Wanda Akers (nee Douglas), a beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Wanda departed from this life peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
Wanda is reunited in Heaven with her parents Arthur and Clarissa and sister Sandy, and is survived by her children Christa (Jay) and their children Bella, Tre and Jaxson, Ryan (Grace) and their children Lyla and Wyatt, Tony (William), her sister Sharon (George) her brother Kenny (Tonya), and nephews Mike (Keri) and Brad (Victoria), Angie, Phillip, Marissa, Taylor and Vaughn who will never forget the love and support she brought to their lives.
Wanda was a wonderful grandmother to her five beautiful grandchildren who were her pride and joy. She found immense joy in spending time with them, creating lasting memories through her constant love and support for each of them. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and kept her fight
